Collective Executive Counsel

In addition to auditing programs and analyzing their effectiveness, Cathedral assists participants in evaluating the suitability of the organization in today’s world.
  • Strategic Plan: Cathedral stresses a three to five year look forward, providing vision against which the organization is operated. Advice includes writing and producing an annual report on the administration, program, and finances.
  • Legal and Taxation: This topic includes an overview of the necessary legal steps to establish a non-profit including taxation issues.
  • Human Resources: Cathedral examines the importance of performance evaluations and how to assess the effectiveness of the staff and present clear job responsibilities.
  • Board of Directors: Examining the board of directors and the functions they serve individually and collectively is key to any non-profit organization.
  • Financials: Key to any of its operations, Cathedral assists participants in the monthly process of understanding income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow to the level associated to all financial occurrences of the non-profit.
  • Communications: Many areas of communications are discussed including the public image and public relations, newsletter, website, internal communications, marketing of programs, and partnerships and relationships involved in the organization.
  • Preparations for the Giving Season: Implementing a well-thought strategy for pursuing all donor sources, Cathedral evaluates strategy to begin soliciting donations through various fundraising activities.
  • Leadership: Every non-profit requires strong leadership and direction to ensure mission fulfillment. Cathedral works with participants to effectively evaluate leadership and set goals for the upcoming New Year.
  • Operations: Assessing the various operational components of a non-profit, a thorough examination of operations is provided.
  • Budget Process: This will reflects upon the year and determines the effectiveness of the current budget process in usefulness and efficiency.
  • Year End Giving: Addressed at the end of the year, this topic guides non-profits maximize the end of the year by establishing a strong funding base for the start of the next calendar year.
