Compensation Planning
This topic focuses on the development of a compensation plan that matches the strategy of your company. Topics to be covered are a) getting compensation and value aligned, b) factors in compensation, and c) performance reviews.
We choose to focus on this topic in May because of several factors: 1) June generally has more flexibility for performance reviews, 2) promotions on July 1 allow individuals the summer to evaluate their role in the company and the company to go into the busier fall knowing that all individuals are content, and 3) a mid-year adjustment in compensation aids the company in balancing raises with growth.
